5 Delicious Fall Diffuser Blends

It’s almost FALL, GUYS.

I know “Fall y’all” is catchier but I just can’t bring myself to jump on the “y’all” bandwagon. It’s not my fault, I’m from New Jersey.

I feel like a million other people when I say this, but I love Fall. I love the weather, the colors, not sweating so much (especially after just moving back from Germany where there’s NO AIR CONDITIONING).

One of my favorite things to gear up for Fall used to be lighting scented candles all over my house and basking in the warm spicy smells.

BUT, here I am recently given up on all synthetic fragrances because no one knows what’s in them and some of those undisclosed ingredients have even been linked to cancer. WHAT.

So this year I’m putting a diffuser in almost every room and I’m going to fill my house with amazing smells that also clean my air and support my health. Did you know that most essential oils have anti-septic/bacterial/microbial/fungal/viral properties? You should Google it.

Here is a throwback to my son’s first Fall photo shoot to get you in the mood.

Okay and now here are some essential oils that will invoke the Fall-est smelling ambiance you can imagine:

  • Thieves
  • Orange
  • Cinnamon Bark *
  • Clove *
  • Stress Away
  • Nutmeg
  • Frankincense
  • Northern Lights Black Spruce (NLBS)
  • Pine
  • Cedarwood
  • Ginger

Those marked with a * should be handled cautiously around young children. They are safe to diffuse but please don’t leave the bottles within reach of littles after you’re finished!

My favorite Fall combinations (and of all time) are tree oils mixed with orange. NLBS + orange is an all-time favorite. Pine + orange is just as nice. Throw in some cinnamon bark in there and it’s practically Christmas. I’m not usually a fan of YL’s Stress Away blend by itself, however with its peppermint and vanilla it works well in combination with other oils.

Now go forth and diffuse. Feel the magic and go get a pumpkin spice latte OR better yet get CoffeeMate Bliss coffee creamer in pumpkin spice flavor because it only has a few ingredients and is way better for you!

I use Young Living essential oils. If you are interested in learning more about them, click here. If you want to get your hands on some, click here.
